application
Application Method
Factory Floors • Garage Floors • Warehouse Floors
Duraflex Floor Epoxy can be applied by roller or brush. Care must be taken to use quality brushware for a good finish. The primer coat should be applied liberally, but do not cause “pooling”. Always apply Duraflex Floor Epoxy in a uniform direction and the area can be “blended” by re-rolling over the area with the roller, without adding or dipping the roller into the container. This will ensure even distribution of Duraflex Floor Epoxy. Allow proper curing times before applying the second coat, which is at least 8 hours.
mixing
Mixing Procedure
The Duraflex Floor Epoxy kit is supplied in equal quantities of Activator (A) and Base (B). The Activator is a semi clear/opaque fluid and the Base is the desired coloured fluid. Only mix the quantity required by adding equal parts of Activator and Base into a clean container. Stir intermittently for 30 minutes until a uniform structure is achieved. The coating is ONLY THEN READY FOR USE. Colours: Light Grey , Dark Grey, Green, Yellow, Red, Black and White. Custom colours available.
