Water repellent Sealer

DURAFLEX H2O Block-it is a clear, breathable, solvent-based, siloxane/silane penetrating water-repellent sealer, used to provide a water repellent surface with improved self-cleaning properties on exterior buildings i.e. brick work, concrete, cement rendering, natural or cast stone. Helps to reduce efflorescence due to soluble salts in brickwork. The coating is clear and preserves the natural colour and texture of created material. It penetrates concrete for a minimum 5mm penetration depth ensuring hydrophobic zone.

Versatile uses

DURAFLEX H2O Block-it is ready to use: brush or spray applied direct from container. Protects the structure from damage caused by wind-driven rain and chloride intrusion. Surface sealer helps reduce efflorescence, atmospheric staining and mildew. UV resistant and durable. Versatile: equally effective on old or new surfaces. Self-cleaning: unaffected by salt-laden atmosphere, reduces unsightly staining.

How to properly prepare before applying

Clean brushes with methylated spirits. Clean surfaces to be treated by brushing and wiping off loose rust and grime. Paint DURAFLEX RustStop It onto the surface or immerse the item in DURAFLEX RustStop It. Allow to dry for at least four hours. After application, the surface can be painted on using a good quality paint.

Versatile uses with easy application

Vapor transmission – prevents entry of moisture into the wall, but allows for moisture to evaporate out. Protects brickwork: risk of efflorescence is reduced. Protects concrete: reduces causes of cracking and crazing in in-situ or precast concrete. Allows surface to breathe repels rainwater and inhibits ingress of surface water provided there is no hydrostatic pressure. Abrasion resistant – No additional protective coating is required for roof subjected to foot traffic. Ease of application – can be applied by spray, brush or roller easily.
