Duraflex Reservoir, Pools & Ponds is a blended Butyl and Acrylic Rubber Sealant, specifically formulated for the purpose of permanently being submerged in water like reservoirs and ponds. Duraflex Reservoir, Pools & Ponds is non toxic and resistant to chemicals and salts.

Achieving Ultimate Coverage

Duraflex suggests that a minimum rate of 1m² per litre be applied, if for example you are applying product to an old concrete reservoir that’s badly corroded an additional coat should be applied.

How to properly prepare before applying

Surface must be cleaned properly, cracks filled with a quick drying crack filler before applying a coat of a Solvent based primer and left to cure 100% before applying the Duraflex Liquid Rubber Sealant.

Application

Various Application Processes

Duraflex Liquid Rubber Sealant can be applied by brush, roller or airless sprayer. For airless sprayer application the product can be diluted 5-10% with water depending on the equipment that you are using. Once the application is completed the coating must be left to cure for 3 days before refilling with water.
