Achieving Ultimate Coverage

Duraflex Liquid Rubber should be applied at a rate of 1m² per litre. For example if your roof is 200m² you should be applying 200 Litres of Duraflex Liquid Rubber product to your roof, applying it in 2 coats.

How to properly prepare before applying

Important to make sure surfaces are clean and dry, any old peeling coatings to be removed before patching or filling any cracks. Once surface has been cleaned, cracks filled we recommend applying a solvent based plaster primer before applying your Duraflex Liquid Rubber Exterior Wall. If you are applying to wood, use pink wood primer and an etching primer can be used for any steel surfaces.

Duraflex Liquid Rubber Exterior Wall can be applied by brush, roller or squeegee, or an airless sprayer. Duraflex Liquid Rubber Exterior Wall is water-based therefore all tools and equipment can be cleaned with water straight after use.

All surfaces to be treated must be structurally sound and existing coatings, adhesives, efflorescence should be removed to achieve maximum bond strength and resistance to hydrostatic pressure. New concrete surfaces need a minimum 30 days before application. New masonry surfaces should be allowed to cure a minimum 48 hours prior to application. Exterior surfaces should be treated with Duraflex Wash-It or Duraflex Degrease-It to clear any surface contaminants.
