This brown viscous liquid converts rust to a metal salt, thereby preventing further oxidation on metal surface.

Can be applied to any iron, or iron alloy surface to convert iron oxides (rust) into a protective chemical barrier. It interacts with iron oxides converting them into an adherent dark layer that is more resistant to moisture and protects the surface from further corrosion. Applications are rusted roof sheeting, trailers, fences, iron railings, sheet metal and the outside of storage tanks.

How to properly prepare before applying

Clean brushes with methylated spirits. Clean surfaces to be treated by brushing and wiping off loose rust and grime. Paint DURAFLEX RustStop It onto the surface or immerse the item in DURAFLEX RustStop It. Allow to dry for at least four hours. After application, the surface can be painted on using a good quality paint.
